Pictures by Wild Cotton Photography - Katie and Paul

Katie and Paul had a gorgeous outdoor wedding on a picture-perfect Autumn day. Fortunately, Aly Schimpff of Wild Cotton Photography was there to capture it, and these images are pretty much... perfect!

You can read more about Katie and Paul's wedding and see my photos from the reception here.

Aren't they the cutest? Congratulations, Katie and Paul!

New Logo by Holley Maher!

I mean... How beautiful is this? Brilliant work by the fabulous Holley Maher. Everything is hand-illustrated, including the lettering, and the flowers she chose are based on the bouquet I made for Kellie and Brett! Thanks, Holley, for the great work!

Katie and Drew

In October one of my oldest and dearest friends had a picture-perfect wedding in Arrington, TN. Not only did I design her flowers, I had the privilege of being her matron of honor, too! Katie and Drew are  an amazing couple, and I'm so glad I could be part of their wedding celebration!

Glorious photos by Kristin Sweeting!

Bridesmaids!

Around Katie's bouquet handle, we tied a charm with a picture of her father. She definitely has his smile! So sweet.

The groom's boutonniere.

The lovely mother of the groom.

For the reception centerpieces, my friends Savannah and Abigail helped construct these trees, made of branches from a "twisted filbert" tree. I just love how they turned out!

On a side note, check out this super-cute picture of me and my hubby!

Ahem... So congratulations to two of my favorite people! Love you, Katie and Drew!

Katie and Paul Tie the Knot

Katie and Paul got married in the Bride's hometown of Dickson, TN on an absolutely perfect Autumn morning. Katie loves the colors of Fall, and it was the perfect weekend to catch all the leaves at their best. The outdoor ceremony was gorgeous.

. . . True to form, I didn't have time to take pictures outside so here's hoping that I'll get some from the photographer soon!

The pre-reception took place in the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum right by the park, then guests processed around the corner to Events on Main, right in the middle of the quaint historic downtown. I loved working with Terry Vaughan and his event staff at both of these venues. They are wonderful people, and I highly recommend their services!

Katie wanted eclectic centerpieces for the reception, so she collected old books, milk glass, pink depression glass, and also used some of her family's silver collection. Here's how it all turned out!

I don't have many pictures of the bridal party flowers (of course) but here's a preview. Katie allowed me some artistic license so I used some interesting textures in the bouquets (pincushion protea, scabiosa pods, and succulents) and used ribbon to incorporate bright robin's-egg blue.

Isn't this a great picture of the happy couple? I can't wait to see more photos from Aly at Wild Cotton Photography. Congratulations, Katie and Paul!
